Adventurous,Joyful and truly Scenic and Beautiful..

This is how I would like to describe my recent trip to Spiti Valley which was very nicely organised by GYPSY DAYS..
This area in Himachal Pradesh is relatively unexplored and hence you get ample time and space to enjoy the Beauty and vastness of this place..

Since the best time to visit Spiti is from June to September,we planned our trip in mid-July and hence the climate was perfect.. Since there was no snowfall, travelling and visiting different places became relatively easier..

Snow-clad mountains everywhere, the valley looks like those landscape pictures that we often see in calendars.. Peaceful monasteries are definitely worth visiting..

Everywhere we went,we were greeted by humble and courteous locals.. They made sure that we were given the best service.. It was so fascinating to see that even though this area is so very remote, the hotels were so clean and luxurious (We had opted for the Luxury Package)

Our entire trip was managed and booked by Gypsy Days and hence we didn’t have to worry about anything.. We were assigned an Innova for our entire local travel.. Since we had our own private car, there was enough flexibility of time.. The driver/tour guide took us to each and every place mentioned in the Itinerary and also gave us lots of information and explained the significance of each place..

This is a must visit place if you are a lover of Beauty,Landscapes, adventure, peace, etc.. The weather was great.. At Chandratal Lake we experienced temperature dip to upto 2 degrees.. It was my first experience of staying in a Camp at Nako and Chandratal Lake.. But I truly loved it.. They were so clean and nothing less than a proper hotel room.. All our hotels were beautifully stationed and we could see vast expanses of nature from our hotel rooms..

It was so much fun to visit the Highest bridge in Asia(Chicham Bridge),the highest Post office at Hikkim, the highest village Kibber,Suicide Point at Kalpa,etc.. We met some fellow passengers who had also been to Leh – Ladakh, but loved Spiti due to its picturesque locations and greenery..

All-in-all,a lovely experience and a must visit place..

The entire Spiti Valley Journey taught me a very beautiful thing,

LIFE IS A JOURNEY,NOT A DESTINATION.. LEARN TO ENJOY THE RIDE.. ❤

P.S. Please follow the instructions/guidelines given by your local tour guide/driver for a safer journey,as they understand the area better than us.
